The PocketBook Verse s screen illumination enables comfortable reading in any lighting conditions, day or night, and can be adjusted to suit the surrounding light conditions and personal preferences thanks to the integrated SMARTlight technology. If you activate DARKmode, you can read in dimly lit surroundings or at night in a particularly relaxed manner.
Format variety for endless reading pleasure
The PocketBook Verse supports 25 book and graphic formats, including ACSM, AZW, CBZ, DJVU, DOC, EPUB, FB2, PDF, TXT, JPEG and PNG. E-books in these formats do not need to be converted beforehand, but are recognized and opened directly by the e-reader. You can use the PocketBook Verse to access digital content from public libraries via the integrated Onleihe app.
Memory card slot and long battery life
The internal memory of 8 GB offers enough space for your digital library. Thanks to the microSD card slot, you can expand the memory by up to 128 GB as needed - that s about 15,000 e-books. Thanks to the device s energy efficiency, one battery charge lasts up to a month of active reading. The battery can be charged using the included USB-C cable.

WLAN, cloud services and free dictionaries
PocketBook Verse has Wi-Fi, so you can easily buy your books online, manage your library and synchronize files with other devices in your PocketBook Cloud. The Internet connection also allows you to download software updates to the device and upload new books to the device with just a few clicks via Send-to-PocketBook or Dropbox. The e-reader comes with 11 pre-installed dictionaries, with a further 42 language combinations available for free download.
