HARMAN Phoenix 200 120 is a whimsical, experimental medium format color negative film with high contrast, strong visible grain and lots of “analog” character.
High contrast and strong visible grain are just a few of its unique qualities that help create characterful, unmistakably analog results unlike any other color film.
With a box sensitivity of ISO 200, HARMAN recommends that the HARMAN Phoenix be rated between ISO 100 and 200, depending on the brightness and contrast range of the subject. It performs best in good, even light, and on brighter days or when shooting against the light, there is also the possibility of halation.
It delivers strong, vibrant colors, although they react differently to different scanners and settings. Proper exposure certainly contributes to the best results, so HARMAN recommends metering for midtones to preserve shadow and highlight detail (overexposure or underexposure is not Phoenix s friend)!
