With the USB to Serial Converter you can easily connect four serial peripheral devices with RS-232 interface or COM port to your notebook, single-board computer or server system
Since most of today's PCs do not have serial ports anymore, the adapter is ideal for operating e.g. weather stations, sensors, machine controllers, modems or ISDN systems
The serial adapter with two 9-pin D-SUB connectors has a FTDI / FT4232H chipset for individual configuration and full-duplex data transmission with up to 128 Mbit/s
Besides remote wake-up, power management is also supported
The cable length from the USB connector to the DSUB connectors corresponds to 1.5 m each, whereby it must be taken into account that an enclosure for the active device components is installed on approx. half of the cable length.
