Buteo Photo Gear Buteo Mark III Reed

The Photo Hide Buteo Mark III Brown is the perfect one-person photo hide for wildlife and bird photography.
This is the successor to the Buteo Mark II, with some improvements.

There is an additional “canopy” on the front that prevents water droplets from entering through the insect mesh and better protects your lens from rain, snow, hail, etc.


In addition to protecting against rain, this hood also functions as a sunshade, the photo window with your lens is more shaded and therefore less noticeable. 
The hood can be folded down when it is not in use or not needed. If you are pitching the tent for a longer period of time, this is also useful as it makes your tent less noticeable and less sensitive to wind.

The insect screens in the windows consist of 2 parts that overlap in the middle and are fitted with an elastic band so that they securely enclose your lens.
These insect nets are attached to the tent fabric with a zipper so that you can open the tent completely if you wish, or if you want to use a snoot as an alternative photo window.
The insect screens are alternately attached vertically or horizontally.

The advantage of the horizontal arrangement is that it is somewhat easier to swivel to the right and left, especially for filmmakers.
